1995: First Outlet at Ratmalana Daily Fair The year 1995 witnessed the opening of our first outlet at Ratmalana Daily Fair, bringing our spices directly to our cherished customers.
2010: Second Outlet at Ratmalana Economic Centre Our commitment to providing quality spices led us to open our second outlet at Ratmalana Economic Centre in 2010, expanding our reach.

2015: Supplying to Government Forces The year 2015 marked a significant turning point as we began supplying our spices indirectly to government forces, earning trust and recognition.

Pinnacle of Success in 2022 In 2022, our dedication to spice production was recognized on a grand scale. Beston Spices was honored with the “Best Business Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 (Spice Production – Medium Scale)” award at Pinnacles Sri Lanka. Our visionary leader, Mr. W. A. Chamath Mahesh, was also recognized as the “Best Businessman of the Year 2022 (Spice Production).”
Expansion into Elpitiya To accommodate our growing operations, we acquired a land extent of 240 perches in the Dedicated Industrial Estate for Agro- and Food-Based Products in Elpitiya. This expansion marks our commitment to excellence and quality.

The resounding history of Beston Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd. dates as far back as 1985. It was in 1992 that the Beston Grinding Mill was first registered as a sole proprietorship business. During the time that Beston Products ventured into the market with a well-articulated vision to be the leading manufacturer of spices and food products while preserving the goodwill of our trusted brand, there were few suppliers dominating in the industry.
With the passage of time, Beston Products became the most preferred supplier of grinded spices owing to the quality of our products. Beston is a symbol of quality, taste, and purity. As far as the resounding history of our business is concerned, we believe that the main reason behind our success is that we have been following the doctrine of being unique to our valued customers.
Beston products are marketed through over 2000 wholesale and retail outlets in the Colombo, Gampaha, Kurunegala, and Kalutara Districts and in the Southern Province by a team of well-trained sales representatives in vehicles owned by the company. In addition, there are two sales outlets, one based at the Ratmalana market and the other at the Ratmalana economic center. Apart from wholesale and retail business, by closely examining the segmental revenue records of our establishment over the years, it is obvious that considerable growth potential has been shown in the hotel sector for our specialised products.
